“Knowledge does not equal Understanding”Several years ago, Richard Canfield stumbled across this video and shared it with R. Nelson Nash. Nelson embraced this example as a powerful way to understand how many have to go through a process of paradigm-shifting to learn and embrace his incredible concept. One of the key observations is how we develop thinking patterns over time, and that it can be very difficult to “RE-LEARN” things, or more importantly to unlearn things. I introduced this video to the Nelson Nash Institute in 2016 during my presentation and created a group thinking exercise amongst the attendees. Now, many of the Authorized IBC Practitioners use this video as part of the learning environment for their clients and at live events.
